The OAE plays the music of four great composers who have anniversaries this year: Henry Purcell, George Frederic Handel, Joseph Haydn and Felix Mendelssohn. These composers are central to classical music, but also to the OAE's repertoire which the Orchestra excels in bringing vividly to life for today's audiences.
