A project for the '1950s television section' of Honours U.S. History. br It's SUPPOSED to be this bad so that it's corny, campy - all of the best things of the '50s. Basically, I took Gumby and Flash Gordon and put them to-gether, along with elements I gleaned from a book about WWII war stories, Flash Gordon Conquers the Universe (1940), and even some things from the Magic Portal and Solitary (brickfilms). br It's a weird combination of stop motion animation and live action (with a lot of use of kaleidoscope shots) - that's from Buck Rodgers by the way, as seen in THX 1138 (1971). The universe is basically army men. Jim Kaiser is an air force guy I got from my grandpa, and Richthofen (like the Great War pilot) is actually Han Solo. The Niadins are the Indians from a set of wild west men. Sets and props are cardboard, paper, dominoes, playing cards, guitar picks, and, of course, LEGOs. br Hopefully, you hate this as much as I do; that's for what it is meant. br br Names: Paul Bresseur - ha, yeah, that's me, don't ask how I got it br Mark Lipsett - '2187', Arthur Lipsett, 1963, not sure about the Mark though br Bill Nash - everyone needs a Bill! Nash was from Crosby, Stills & Nash, but ironically, Zarkov from the Flash Gordon show was played by a Mr. Nash br Don Welles - Don of the Everly Brothers (I was using music for inspiration), Welles from Orson br br Jim Kaiser - no clue, he was also the subject of my migrant journal for the same class however br Richthofen - yeah, Manfred br Zole - see Calculator Narrative (3702) br Edward Gray - Edvard Grieg and Dorian Gray (which I finished to-day) br br Ober moon - some influence from the moon of Endor, but mostly Oberlin college.
