JAE, 25, from California, describes their look as an 'Androgynous Mall Goth Punk Clown' and always stands out in the crowd. Coming from a conservative background, Jae always admired and was intrigued by fashion-forward styles, but it was only when they left home at 16 that they really found their look. Jae told Transformed: "I was never really able to experience the things I admired being in a strict household, but when I got out I dove deep and really figured out what I liked. I became creative with my makeup and fashion and stopped thinking about what society wanted me to be. I thought, people are going to look at me weird so I might as well do it anyway!"
