We were cycling around at an urban village area in Meilin, Shenzhen, and came across some interesting streets, shops and restaurants. Urban villages in Shenzhen are unique communities that have developed within the rapidly urbanizing city. These villages are remnants of the original rural settlements before Shenzhen's transformation into a modern metropolis.
