Berlin's wonderful old cinema,the Babylon,is celebrating its 80th birthday. Most of the films around at the time of its opening were silent - the first talkie actually came out just before the cinema opened - and the Babylon,along with many other cinemas,enhanced its silent film experience with sound and atmosphere from its grand cinema organ. The organ in the Babylon is still there - and is still being used.
