Thousands of protesters supporting and opposing impeached South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol held rival protests several hundred meters apart near Gwanghwamun, central Seoul, on Saturday (January 25), after the court rejected a request from the prosecutors' office to extend the detention of Yoon.
