As the Lunar New Year holiday begins, temperatures are dropping across Taiwan, reportedly due to a cold air mass from China. From January 27 to the 29, some areas in northern Taiwan could see temperatures below 6 degrees Celsius, while further south the mercury could drop below 10 degrees, according to Taiwan's Central Weather Administration.
