After five years of planning, the first of nine elephants has been moved from Melbourne Zoo to Werribee Open Range Zoo in less than an hour. The herd’s new $88 million home is designed to provide more space and freedom. Fifteen-year-old Luk Chai was the first to make the move—marking another milestone in his history-making journey.
