Justine Gill, 63, claims a reckless cyclist ran over her Chihuahua, Bonnie, while she was walking her three dogs in Swalecliffe, Kent, on February 6.br br After hearing Bonnie scream in pain, a witness informed Mrs Gill that the cyclist, who fled the scene, had run over her dog’s back.br br The incident left Bonnie in shock, requiring X-rays and oxygen, resulting in a £1,300 vet bill.br br Despite not being insured, Mrs Gill paid the bill herself, expressing disappointment at the cyclist's lack of responsibility.br br The incident occurred on a footpath designated as both a cyclepath and dog-walking area. Mrs Gill has chosen not to report the cyclist to the police.
