Last year Warren Buffett amassed an unprecedented $325 billion in cash and cash equivalents, primarily in Treasury bills, via his firm Berkshire Hathaway. The amount was the largest that Buffett has ever held, sufficient to acquire all but the top 25 most valuable U.S. corporations.
