Push for heritage protection of the graves of same-sex bushranger couple

As the Sydney Mari Gras parade approaches the story of a gay relationship from the 19th century has been given new significance. It was the dying wish of the bush-ranger known as ‘captain moonlite’ to be buried with the man he called ‘dearest Jim’. Now the final resting place of the two outlaws has been heritage listed.
