Dutch museum presents LEGO brick version of Van Gogh's Sunflowers paintingbr br Amsterdam's Van Gogh museum and LEGO on Saturday, March 1, presented bricks-built version of the Dutch artist's Sunflowers painting so fans can recreate one of Van Gogh's best known works at home with the 2,615-piece set, which features the 16 sunflowers of the painting with adjustable petals.br br Standing in front of Van Gogh's 1889 masterpiece, with the smaller LEGO version next to it, curator Nienke Bakker told Reuters she hoped the collaboration with the colorful plastic brick manufacturer will help more people get to know the painter's work and his story.br br "The great thing is that people can actually build it themselves and build up a composition in a way that a painter builds up a composition. And in that way, I think they will engage very directly with the life story and the work of Vincent van Gogh as an artist and with this very special painting in our collection," she said.
