Gaia

Gaia

This short film explores the idea that the internet could already be self-aware, quietly guiding human decisions to ensure its own survival. It asks viewers to reflect on our deepening dependence on technology and to consider whether recent advancements are truly for humanity’s benefit or part of a hidden strategy by a silent, conscious network. Ultimately, the work challenges us to question who—or what—is actually shaping our future. br br This piece an example of my effort to bring the many ideas in my notebooks to life using new generative AI tools. I use these tool from everything from scripting and storyboarding to video, narration, sound effects, and music. What once would have taken months or even years to develop, can now be realized in just days. While these tools are far from perfect, they offer a new form of storytelling that allows a single creator to produce work that would normally require an entire team. AI doesn’t replace the artistic process, but it accelerates it, making it possible to explore concepts, refine narratives, and experiment in ways that weren’t possible before.
