Taiwan Extends Han Kuang Military Drills Amid China Tensions

Taiwan has confirmed the schedule for its annual Han Kuang military exercises, which will take place in two phases. The first stage, from April 5 to 18, will be a computer simulation to test responses to various threats. The second stage, running from July 9 to 18, will feature live-fire drills across Taiwan. This year, the live-fire component has been extended from five to ten days, reflecting increased regional tensions as China continues military pressure on the island.
