Boeing CEO Kelly Ortberg told lawmakers the company has made “sweeping changes” in safety and manufacturing, according to CNBC. Ortberg testified before the Senate Commerce Committee Wednesday following a series of accidents that plagued the company. Ortberg said Boeing is committed to restoring trust and is working with the DOJ on a revised plea deal related to fraud charges over the 737 Max.
