Salina Alsworth, 27, lives in Port Alsworth, Alaska, one of the world’s most remote villages, where groceries are flown in every two months.br br Salina, who works as a manager at Lake Clark Resort, has lived in the village her whole life.br br Her husband, Jared Richardson, 25, relocated to the village in 2022 from Detroit, Michigan, and has adapted to the isolated life.br br With no convenience stores, bars, or restaurants, residents rely on deliveries from Anchorage, 200 miles away.br br Weather conditions, like snow and fog, often delay flights, making living in the village challenging.br br Despite this, Salina loves the close-knit community and has no plans to leave.
