Taiwan President Lai Ching-te has honored the late Pope Francis at the Archdiocese in Taipei on Wednesday, as the country remains mum on whether Lai will attend the pope's funeral on Saturday in the Vatican City. The Vatican is one of Taiwan's diplomatic allies.
