Know key details of how Indian Navy’s powerful presence in Arabian Sea forced Pakistan to surrender

What really forced Pakistan to pick up the phone and urged India for cessation of hostilities? Seems like it was the presence of giants deployed in the Northern Arabian Sea by the Indian Navy. DGNO Vice Admiral AN Pramod on May 11 affirmed that the Indian Navy’s maritime edge drove Pak’s ‘urgent request for a ceasefire’. Indian Navy’s Carrier Battle Group, submarines, and air assets were swiftly deployed with full combat readiness under the joint defence plan. Within 96 hours of the attack, Indian Navy conducted multiple weapon firings in the Arabian Sea, testing and refining tactics and procedures at sea. Navy stayed forward deployed in the Northern Arabian Sea forcing Pakistani naval and air units into a defensive posture near their coast. As part of escalation control, the Navy’s use of force was synchronised with the Indian Army and Indian Air Force. The Indian Navy’s maritime edge, along with kinetic actions of Army and Air Force actions, led to Pakistan’s urgent ceasefire plea. Indian Navy’s giants remain at sea in a strong deterrent posture, ready to counter any threat from Pakistan or its proxies. On May 11, DGNO made it very clear that Indian Navy is going to train guns at Pak if it dares to do anything inimical. “This time if Pakistan dare take any action and Pakistan knows it what we are going to do” were his exact words.
