The T-Mobile G1, commonly known as the Google phone, is the first to use the search company's Android operating system. It's being talked about as a potential rival to the iPhone, with a similar large touch-screen, mapping with GPS, music and video playback and downloadable applications. In addition the G1 has a slide-out keyboard and a few other nifty touches, but it falls down in a couple of places too.
