After three days of debates, speeches from visiting politicians and indigenous leaders and a plenary which produced a collective statement denouncing criminalization of indigenous people in Brazil, Chief Marcos Xukuru lead thousands of followers on a long march down from the Ororuba hills into downtown Pesqueira, Pernambuco.
