Jaunpur, Uttar Pradesh — The body of retired District Youth Welfare Officer Ramkripal Yadav was found in the bushes near a posh locality in Jaunpur on Sunday, sending shockwaves across the district. Yadav, a resident of Bairwa village, had gone out Saturday night with his grandson, who later dropped him near the Baati-Chokha restaurant at Wajidpur intersection, under Line Bazar police station limits.br br When Yadav’s phones went unreachable and he did not return, his family alerted the police. CCTV footage showed a woman and a man taking Yadav on a scooter at 2:11 AM. His body was discovered hours later in nearby bushes.br br Based on the footage, police arrested three individuals, including a woman. During a search of the accused’s homes, investigators found suspicious items, including sex-enhancement pills. One suspect allegedly washed the scooter and cleaned her house to eliminate evidence before the police arrived.br br While officials suspect a possible extramarital link behind the murder, no formal motive has been confirmed. A senior officer stated that a thorough investigation is ongoing and the accused are being interrogated.
