Kia must be worried... Peugeot's new E-5008 is an electric seven seater with bold styling and a high-tech interior, which is exactly how we'd describe the Kia EV9. And yet the thing keeping employees of Kia up at night is the new Peugeot's most surprising asset: Its price.br br Priced from under £48,550, the E-5008 is more than £15k cheaper than Kia's EV9, and yet it also comes with an eight-year or 100,000-mile warranty. Which begs the question: Has Peugeot just out-Kia'd Kia?br br With a 73kWh battery and claimed 312-mile range, the Peugeot E-5008 has real-world usability to go with its built-in seven-seat practicality (and it'll have even more in the 98kWh, 410-mile capable top model). But the Kia does fight back with its own mix of talents, including more boot space and no shortage of in-car technology.
