A wanted criminal, Abhishek Tiwari (alias Shooter Tiwari), climbed onto the fifth-floor balcony of an apartment in Odhav, Ahmedabad, to evade arrest. He threatened to jump if approached, causing a standoff. Police and fire brigade teams arrived, and after three hours of negotiation, they safely brought him down. Tiwari was wanted in a kidnapping case under Krishnanagar police station. The incident was captured on video and went viral.
