The Iranian Parliament has reached the necessary consensus to approve the possible blockade of the strategic Strait of Hormuz, in response to actions considered direct aggressions on the part of the United States. This measure could paralyze the transit of more than 21 million barrels of oil per day, more than 20 of world demand, and raise crude oil prices to $250 per barrel, severely affecting global markets.
