Dropout to Dream Big: Gujarat’s Journey of Education Empowerment

Ahmedabad (Gujarat), June 28 (ANI): Gujarat is redefining education by turning government schools into a first choice. Dropout rates have dramatically declined — from 20.50 to 1.07 in Classes 1–5 and from 37.22 to 2.42 in Classes 1–8. Smart classrooms with TVs, tablets, and improved infrastructure are being rolled out under the National Education Policy. The Namo Lakshmi Yojana provides ₹50,000 in financial support to girls in Classes 9–12, ensuring their continued education with dignity. Gujarat’s schools now champion inclusion, innovation, and empowerment — paving the way for a brighter, more equitable future.
