Former Bangladeshi Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has been sentenced to six months in jail by the International Crimes Tribunal for contempt of court. The sentencing marks the first official ruling since her ouster and escape last year following mass student-led demonstrations. Former student leader Shamil Bulbul was also sentenced to two months.
