UP Cabinet hands over reins of ‘stalled’ JPNIC project to Lucknow Development Authority

Lucknow (UP), July 05, 2025 (ANI): Uttar Pradesh cabinet has handed over the Jayaprakash Narayan International Centre project to Lucknow Development Authority for completion and operations. JPNIC, which has been closed for 8 years, will re-open soon. The Lucknow Development Authority (LDA) will soon revive the long-pending Jai Prakash Narayan International Centre (JPNIC) project through a public-private partnership model. The authority has begun preparations to inspect the site, assess the required expenses, and then to plan ahead.
