In a heartbreaking tragedy from Louisiana, engaged couple Alexus Lee (25) and John “JR” Collins (35) died in separate car accidents just hours apart on the same road—leaving behind their 4-year-old son, Gabriel.br br On May 16, 2025, Alexus, a devoted teacher, was driving around 2 a.m. when she lost control of her SUV and crashed into a culvert, dying at the scene. When police delivered the devastating news, JR rushed to the crash site in anguish. Just before 4 a.m., he too lost control of his car, crashing into a tree and dying instantly.
