18 Karat Gold - All-Bumm 1973 (Germany, Krautrock Glam Rock)br br br "18 Karat Gold" were short-lived offshoot of "Amon Duul II". Their work is of undoubted musical interest. Lothar Meid was a "Amon Duul II" from 1971 until 1974, although he left the group and returned several times. At the same time he was busy with other projects in parallel, such as "18 Karat Gold", "Doldinger's Passport" and "Utopia". Half American and half German Klaus Ebert was only 18 years old when "18 Karat Gold" recorded their only album. From 1976 until 1979 he was a member of "Amon Duul II" in their last stage, when they changed the musical landmarks on the pop-rock. Keith Forsey and Jorg Evers were guests on several albums "Amon Duul II" (also sometimes replaced by the so-called permanent members of the staff on live performances). Forsey, British session drummer living at that time in Germany, in 1971, also made an excellent album with Paul Vincent as a duo "Hallelujah". Olaf Kubler, a well-known producer of "Amon Duul II" and the jazz saxophonist, will not add any exciting ideas when writing this album.
