The story begins with Betty Boop running away from home after a disagreement with her parents. She takes her dog Bimbo and seeks shelter in a dark cave. However, the creatures and ghosts they encounter there turn the story into a surreal adventure filled with horror and fantasy elements. In the most striking scene, a ghost-like creature dances to the song "Minnie the Moocher," performed by Cab Calloway - animated using rotoscope technology based on Calloway’s actual dance movements.
