The government is committed to developing the Digital Trust and Data Security Strategy 2026-2030 and establishing an independent Data Commission to safeguard digital transformation through a comprehensive national ecosystem.br br In his speech at the opening of ASEAN AI Malaysia Summit 2025 (AAIMS25) on Tuesday (Aug 12), Digital Minister Gobind Singh Deo said these initiatives will strengthen data protection and governance, enhance cyber resilience, and uphold the integrity of Malaysia’s digital ecosystem.
