Duterte traveled to the Netherlands and Malaysia in May, Australia in June and then once again to the Netherlands and South Korea in July. She arrived in the country on July 28, the same day that President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. delivered his fourth State of the Nation Address, which she skipped.
