RARE BASKING SHARK CIRCLES FISHING BOAT IN NORWAYbr WITH VIDbr By Jaiansh Sharmabr A fisherman in Norway had an extraordinary encounter when a rare basking shark swam right up to his boat and began circling it.br Jan Alec from Cayman Islands was returning from a fishing trip just outside of Reine in the Lofoten Islands when he spotted a large fin cutting through the water.br Stopping the boat, he was astonished as the massive shark approached and began to swim around him.br Jan believes the shark may have been curious because his boat was full of fish and some blood had leaked into the water.br He said: “It was breathtaking,”br Posted on Instagram one user commented: “I know it poses no real threat but do I feel threatened.”br Another added: “Bro. It’s nearly as big as your boat, move along.
