GST 2.0 : అమెరికా టారీఫ్ ల నేపథ్యంలో దేశీయంగా వస్తు, సేవల వినియోగాన్ని పెంచాలని భారత సర్కారు నిర్ణయించింది. నిత్యావసరాలపై జీఎస్టీని తగ్గిస్తామని ప్రధాని మోదీ ప్రకటించారు. ఇందుకోసం వస్తు,సేవల పన్ను (జీఎస్టీ) వ్యవస్థలో సమూల సంస్కరణలు చేసేందుకు కేంద్ర ప్రభుత్వం సిద్ధమవుతోంది. ఇకపై సింపుల్‌గా 'స్టాండర్డ్' (5 శాతం), 'మెరిట్' (18 శాతం) అనే రెండు జీఎస్టీ శ్లాబ్‌లతో సరిపెట్టాలని యోచిస్తోంది. దేశంలో విక్రయమయ్యే 7 వస్తువులపై మాత్రం 40 శాతం జీఎస్టీని విధించాలని భావిస్తోంది. 12 శాతం జీఎస్టీ శ్లాబ్‌ను తొలగిస్తారని, అందులోని 99 శాతం వస్తు,సేవలను 5 శాతం శ్లాబ్‌లోకి చేరుస్తారనే అంచనాలు వెలువడుతున్నాయి. 28 శాతం శ్లాబ్‌లోని 90 శాతం వస్తు,సేవలను 18 శాతం శ్లాబ్‌లోకి తీసుకొస్తారనే టాక్ వినిపిస్తోంది. ఈ అంశాలపై సెప్టెంబరులో జరగనున్న జీఎస్టీ మండలి సమావేశాల్లో కీలక నిర్ణయాలు తీసుకోనున్నారు. ఇంతకీ జీఎస్టీ 2.0 వల్ల ఎవరికి లాభం? ఏయే వస్తు, సేవల ధరలు దిగొస్తాయి? తెలుసుకుందాం. br br br In the wake of US tariffs, the Indian government has decided to boost domestic consumption of goods and services.
