The government has achieved 98.8 of its target to build 500,000 affordable homes under the 12th Malaysia Plan, Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim told the Dewan Rakyat on Thursday (Aug 28).br br He acknowledged the ambitious target and earlier weaknesses in implementation but stressed that housing is now a priority under the Housing and Local Government Ministry.
