Nvidia SEC Filing Shows Two Customers Made Up 39% Of Q2 Revenue

Nvidia revealed in a Wednesday SEC filing that two direct customers accounted for 39 of its July-quarter revenue, according to CNBC. Customer A represented 23 of total revenue and Customer B 16, up from 14 and 11 a year earlier. Nvidia said cloud service providers made up about half of its data center sales, which represented 88 of total revenue. The chip giant's latest customer disclosure has reignited debate over whether a small number of major cloud providers is fueling its rapid growth. Nvidia said large cloud service providers contributed about half of its data center revenue, which accounted for 88 of total revenue in the second quarter. The company also cautioned that heavy reliance on a limited number of customers could continue.Nvidia told investors on Wednesday that AI demand is broadening beyond cloud giants, with sovereign governments, enterprises, and “neoclouds” contributing to growth. Huang projected $3 trillion to $4 trillion in AI infrastructure by the end of the decade. He said Nvidia could capture as much as 70 of the cost of a $50 billion AI-focused data center.
