Lawmakers are looking into the involvement of a possible syndicate after it was revealed that a small group of contractors were awarded the majority of these infrastructure projects. br The committee has issued subpoenas to several contractors who failed to attend the initial hearings.The probe was initiated after President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. called for a review of flood mitigation programs and questioned the "disproportionate concentration and awarding of projects to a selected group of contractors."
