Famine has hit Gaza's largest city and its surrounding area and is likely to spread over the next month, UN-backed experts said. The Integrated Food Security Phase Classification (IPC) system stated that 514,000 people are facing famine, and that number is expected to rise to 614,000 by the end of September.
