The Argentine people say goodbye to Rosa Tarlovsky de Roisinblit, a Grandmother of Plaza de Mayo, who passed away at the age of 106. She left behind an enormous body of work and a legacy as a human rights leader in Argentina and around the world. Rosa Roisinblit was one of the founders of the Grandmothers of Plaza de Mayo and a central figure in the struggle to identify children who were kidnapped or born in captivity during Argentina’s last civil-military dictatorship. Rosita was born on August 15, 1919, in Moisés Ville, Santa Fe province. The Grandmothers of Plaza de Mayo organization declared Rosa its honorary president.
