The updates include expanded video call features, a broader rollout of its Energy System, and new non-language offerings like Chess, Math, and Music. The company is pushing to boost engagement as daily active user growth slows and AI competition intensifies. JPMorgan analysts Bryan Smilek and Doug Anmuth reiterated an Overweight rating with a $515 price target, nearly 90 above Friday’s close. They cited investor concerns over softer DAU growth, modest U.S. marketing spend, and competition from AI platforms. Sensor Tower data showed third-quarter DAU growth of 28 year-over-year so far, down from 39 in the prior quarter. Duolingo shares were last up 0.39 at $272.23 on Monday.
