Starbucks CEO Brian Niccol Marks One Year, Says Coffee Giant Is Ahead Of Turnaround Goals

Starbucks CEO Brian Niccol marked his first year leading the company by declaring the turnaround “ahead of schedule," according to Fox Business. CEO Brian Niccol told FOX Business during an interview that the company is solidifying its fundamentals and will drive growth through menu, rewards, digital innovation, and new store designs that enable more openings. Thousands of locations are slated for redesign through 2026, with more possible in 2027. Stores in the U.S. continue to face declining visits as consumers tighten spending, but CEO Brian Niccol remains confident in the company’s trajectory. He highlighted faster-than-expected rollouts, including the Green Apron Service model to streamline orders. Since introducing the new store model, 80 of drinks are ready in under four minutes and 95 of mobile orders meet that benchmark, a marked improvement from before.
