Anne Lloyd Francis (Ossining, 16 settembre 1930 – Santa Barbara, 2 gennaio 2011) è stata un'attrice statunitense.Nota per la sua partecipazione nei panni di Alta nel classico della fantascienza Il pianeta proibito (1956). She is best known for her role as Alta in the science fiction classic Forbidden Planet (1956). She also starred in the television series Honey West (1965–1966), a role that earned her a Golden Globe and a Primetime Emmy Award nomination. Anne Francis made her screen debut at age 18 in the musical Summer Holiday (1948). In 1951, she appeared in the comedy Elopement and a few years later in John Sturges's 1955 film, The Last Day of the Dead (1955), opposite Spencer Tracy. In 1960, she was awarded a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, in the television section, at 1611 Vine Street. A chain smoker, she was diagnosed with lung cancer in 2007. He died in January 2011 due to the evolution of pancreatic cancer.
