Severe Tropical Storm Opong (international name: Bualoi) continued to accelerate while moving west-northwestward and was nearing Romblon on Friday morning, Sept. 26, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said.
