Bloomberg says China's Huawei will double production of its top AI chips in 2026, despite US export restrictions. Even so, the company lags far behind US rivals in chip performance, with one research firm estimating Huawei's next-generation chip will only have 6 of the computing power of Nvidia’s VR200 superchip.
