This alert was a part of three-day drills synced with Taiwan’s National Disaster Prevention Day on September 21. Twenty-six years ago, the devastating Jiji – or 921 – Earthquake struck Taiwan. br br br br These annual drills serve as a memorial to those lost and are a vital educational tool for the public on how to respond when disaster strikes.
