WOMAN RESCUES UNCONSCIOUS STRANGER ON STREETbr WITH VIDbr By Kiara Wells and Hannah Hodgettsbr Watch the courageous moment a woman rescued an unconscious teenage boy.br While out for a walk with her daughter, 33-year-old Jodie Carnall noticed a teenager, Alfie, lying motionless on the pavement.br Despite the boy’s friends calling out from across the street and insisting he was fine, Jodie immediately sensed something was wrong. br She rushed over and discovered Alfie was unconscious.br Jodie quickly realised that Alfie had called emergency services himself but had been unable to respond over the phone as he was suffering from a seizure.br As Alfie continued to seize, Jodie stayed by his side, performing first aid until paramedics arrived. br Jodie said: “I was walking with my daughter when I saw somebody lying on the ground from a distance. br “He wasn’t moving. I started recording just for my safety in case anything happened and I approached with caution as I had my daughter with me. br “As I got closer it became quite apparent that this young boy was having a seizure.br “I performed first aid and called an ambulance. He had nine seizures in ten minutes whilst I waited for the ambulance. br “I held his head as it was viciously hitting the pavement during his seizures. br “Since then him and his mum have thanked me.
