Everyone was happy except Eddie, who was becoming increasingly dependent on medication and his lifestyle. The producers had big plans: organizing The Ngaruawahia Festival with Ticket as headliners, supporting Black Sabbath on their Australian tour, and a major US tour. But these plans were never realized, as amid growing animosity within the band, they decided to take a break for several months. Their final performance at the Ngaruawahia Festival took place in November 1972.
