WE CHOSE TO STOP ROMPING A YEAR INTO OUR RELATIONSHIPbr br With VID AND PIXbr br By Todd Sasinbr br A couple have revealed the bold decision they chose to take in their relationship as they became celibate after a year together, despite initially fears for her relationship.br br Throughout their year-long relationship, Giavanna Cummings revealed how the pair became very physically rampant with each other, before opting to completely let go of their bedroom antics.br br Since dating, Giavanna gradually became very dedicated to her faith, Christianity, alongside her partner, Noah Sousa, who was already partially religious, the couple wanted to be ‘obedient to God’.br br The 27-year-old from Los Angeles, California, USA, said: “My boyfriend and I decided to stop having sex a year into our relationship, and decided to wait until marriage instead.br br “When we first met, I was not a Christian, he was, however. He was not as deep in his faith as he is now and part of why he and I fell for each other was because we were so attracted to each other an insane amount.”br br Becoming celibate was something Giavanna initially never saw herself doing after their relationship was previously heavily involved around the physical aspect.br br However, she did admit to some concerns that going celibate was the wrong decision. The social media influencer had concerns that her relationship would break down if their time in the bedroom was wiped out.br br Despite this, the couple are now happier than ever while any concerns she did have, have now been disregarded as it has brought them ‘much closer to each other’.br br Revealing all about the couple’s decision, Giavanna explained: “Our relationship was heavily involved around the physical and as time went by, our relationship with God just started to grow at a very rapid pace.br br “The tiniest bits of conviction would start to come in, but if I’m being completely honest, we stopped doing it before I felt fully convicted.br br “I was at a place in my faith where I wanted to be obedient to God, despite how I felt about a certain situation. br br “When we first made the decision, we obviously had some slip-ups. He and I went from doing it a lot to not at all and it was a big change in our relationship.br br “And I will admit I was so nervous that he and I would not have a relationship if we took that out of the equation; but it has been such the opposite experience.br br “I can honestly say it has brought us much closer to each other and obviously much closer to Christ. He and I not only love each other, but we genuinely just like each other – like he’s my best friend.
