Mama Lion — Preserve Wildlife 1972 (USA, Hard, Blues Rock)br br Singer, model, and actress Lynn Catherine Carey was born on October 29, 1946, in Los Angeles, to the famous actor Macdonald Carey. Lynn began her career in show business as an actress and model. She played small roles in the comedy "Lord Love A Duck" and "How Sweet It Is!" and appeared on the TV shows "Lassie," "The Man From U.N.C.L.E.", "Run For Your Life," and "The Wild Wild West." Lynn also became a member of the band "C.K. Strong" and later the vocalist for "Ivar Avenue Reunion." It was there that she met Canadian bassist, poet, and composer Robert Neilson Lillie, better known as Neil Merryweather. In 1971, the duo recorded the album "Vacuum Cleaner." Lynn achieved her greatest success with the band Mama Lion, which released two excellent albums in 1972-73. She dabbled not only in vocals but also performed as a bass player and occasionally played lead guitar. Her character was as uncompromising as her voice, as evidenced by her brief but provocative run with Penthouse magazine, where she was named Model of the Month for December 1972. After releasing her solo album, Good Times, in 1984, Lynn continued her musical career with various jazz ensembles.br br Tracks:br br 01. Ain't No Sunshine - 0:00br br 02.
