First Nations communities have been sharing knowledge about their continuous connection to the land, sky and water. In south-west Victoria, Gunditjmara people hold a story of a volcanic eruption that happened more than 35,000 years ago. Rocks from that eruption were used to create an impressive aquaculture system that sustained their people.
